Love is the supreme form of communication. In the hierarchy of needs, love stands as the supreme developing agent of the humanity of the person. As such, the teaching of love should be the central core of all early childhood curriculum with all other subjects growing naturally out of such teaching.
Who We Are
The Center
F.L.Y. Learning Center is a Sanderson, Florida-based childcare development facility that cares for children birth to five years old. The target for this facility is to provide teacher-to-student quality childcare accessible and convenient to parents within the community. Through specialized training of the staff and innovative learning systems, F.L.Y. Learning Center is cutting edge in terms of child development. The curriculum, coupled with a custom-designed facility and a low teacher-to-student ratio ensures a top-shelf service for the children and the parents. The Company was formed on 01/27/2020 as a Limited Liability Company under Florida state laws and headed by Porsha Brown.
The Director
Hello, my name is Porsha Brown, the owner and founder of F.L.Y. Learning Center. I have been in childcare 10+ years. I started my love for early childhood education in 2008 working at Rising Stars Learning Center where I started with infants working my way up to 3 year olds. I was able to get my CDA and director credentials while working on my AS degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2009, I started working for Episcopal Children Services, where I worked in Early Head Start with infants, then transitioned to Head Start where I became a VPK teacher. From 2012 -2017 I worked at the Child Development Center ( CDC ) on Nellis AFB and Offutt AFB. In 2018 I become an ESL teacher while creating F.L.Y. Learning Center. in January 2020 I cared for children full time and tutored. I love teaching children at an early age where I can leave a positive imprint on their minds.
